Carolyn R. Brock graduated from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 1994 where she was on the National Deans List from 1991 - 1993, and a member of the San Diego Justice Journal law review writing staff from 1992 - 1993. Ms. Brock is admitted to practice before the courts of California, the United States District Court for the Southern District of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She is a member of the California Bar Association and the Estate Planning and Probate Section. Ms. Brock is also a member of the local Desert Estate Planning Council. Ms. Brock is the author of various articles including: "Nonfiduciary Liability Under ERISA", San Diego Justice Journal Vol. 1, No. 1, Summer 1993; "Drafting Qualified Domestic Relations Orders", Dicta, San Diego County Bar Association, Lawyers Magazine, September, 1996; "Another QDRO Pitfall: Early Retirement Incentive Programs - Separate or Community Property?", Dicta, San Diego County Bar Association, Lawyers Magazine, June 1997. Ms. Brock concentrates on estate planning, probate, conservatorships, and trust administration, and has an expertise in employee benefits law and Qualified Domestic Relations Orders for family law attorneys and their clients.
